NEWS_{I'm off on a bit of an adventure this weekend, for the Victoria Day Long Weekend. To Victoria off all places! I'm going to visit my friend, Charlie and his daughter, we're going to stay with some friends at their lake house for the weekend, we're also going for a birthday party, so lots of fun. (: Tons of barbeque's and parties of sorts, I'm quite excited. (:

Along with the parties and endless food, there will also be...Wait for it...

FIREWORKS!

PS: I'll update this with features and music when I get home. Because my computer is being rather silly at the moment.

EDIT.

I had my appendix removed this morning and I haven't been doing much since then. Except eating unsolid food. This is lame, very very lame. My side is still sore and now itchy, I blame the stitches.

In other more exciting and happy news.

I'm going to Shawnigan lake tomorrow for a birthday party and to visit some friends. Hanging out by a lake, in the summer sun, reading. So perfect.

god yes i want a camera.

but good ones are so expensive, and my parents don't think that photography is a serious hobby. that is what my parents are like with me. if i don't go to ivy league or close, they most likely won't pay for college.

fun, huh?

yeah. but whatever. i want to do well in life, which nowadays includes a good college. so hey, a diploma from stanford isn't gonna hurt...

I have a point and shoot, idiot proof digital camera, that has basically no options other than black and whit or regular.

my parents refuse to buy me a good one.

_{Haha, I went to Portland in December of 2005 and it rained pretty much the entire time. Though I did really enjoy it, it's a beautiful place. (:

Where I live is pretty much like that, the sun comes out once in a great while and then it goes away behind some ugly gray clouds. D:

My camera, it's magic. I actually don't do a whole lot of Photoshopping to most of my work, a few touch ups here and there, some color adjustments. But other than that, it's pretty much the raw image off the camera. I've been photographing for a long time and I took many classes to get where I am. I think it just takes creativity and a good eye. (:}

it was gorgeous outside today.

i walked for like an hour after school today, i was so totally exhilarated by actually seeing sunlight.

And then I looked down and realized how pale I am.
